How to Exfoliate the Face and Body?

You can fight against aging and have your skin look its best by exfoliating. Exfoliation is the one thing you can always count on to get great results. As we age, our skin’s cell production slows, which can lead to a buildup of dead skin cells. This can result in a dull, dry complexion. Exfoliation removes the dead skin, allowing the new ones to surface. It also will enable moisturizers and facial packs to cleanse and condition the skin. If you need to become more familiar with the benefits of exfoliation regularly, here are some tips to help you understand this miraculous miracle. They will also tell you what you can do to achieve glowing skin.

The Tools

  • A brush with natural bristles
  • This brush can be found in the cosmetics section of many department stores and general retailers. Use circular motions when using a natural bristle brush with a long handle. Begin with your legs, and work your way slowly up. Brush in a circular movement in a small section before moving on to the next.
  • Exfoliating glove or loofah
  • These products, made from natural sponges, help exfoliate the skin while in the shower. These products should not be used on the face.
  • Exfoliation scrub
  • Select a scrub containing beads, pits, or sugar. It should be labeled “body scrub” (or “cleansing soap”)
  • The Method allows the water to flow over your skin if you’re using a loofah or an exfoliating scrub. Warm water is best. Choose warm water.
  • Rub the loofah in a circular motion over moistened skin. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat every 3-7 days, depending on your skin’s sensitivity.

Face

  • You may wonder why your skin looks dull and older despite being washed. This is because your skin has a layer of dead cells. Here are a few tips to get glowing skin for your face. Did you know our skin repairs itself at night? It’s for this reason that morning is the best time to exfoliate.
  • Avoid over-exfoliating your skin. Granules can cause damage.
  • After 30 seconds, rub the product in circular motions. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Use a scrub to exfoliate once or twice per week.
  • Finish with Dabur Gulabari rose water.

Body

The body also needs to be exfoliated, just like the face. Use scrubs only two to three days a week. A circular motion will be most effective in helping to remove ingrown hairs and is less harsh than a back-and-forth movement. Gloves are fine as long as you keep them clean and dry.

Foot

Maintain your feet in top condition all summer long. It only takes two minutes. After showering, exfoliate your feet with pumice for about one minute. Be sure to scrub the toes as well as the heel. You will find that daily care keeps your feet soft, supple and will eliminate the need for professional pedicures. Your feet will also look beautiful in summer sandals.
