Blackheads Can Be Removed Naturally From Your Face and Nose

What are blackheads and whiteheads?

Blackheads appear as small, black projections on the skin. They are most commonly found on the face and nose. These black projections block the sebaceous skin glands. The sebaceous gland produces excessive sebum,’ an oily substance. This mixture of bacteria and dead skin causes the plugs to harden. Sebum is exposed to oxygen in the air and oxidizes and turns black.

They are known as whiteheads when they appear below the opening of the pores.

What are some of the common causes of blackheads?

Several factors cause blackheads.

  • Stress
  • Hormonal changes
  • Inheritance
  • Unclean skin
  • Cosmetics
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine

Blackheads: Natural Ways of Clearing Them

Use easily accessible ingredients to remove blackheads and clean pores using these natural methods.

Tomato wash: Tomatoes are antiseptic and dry out blackheads. Apply a small, peeled tomato to the blackheads, and let it dry overnight. Let it sit overnight, and wash your face in the morning with clean water.

Scrub with Lemon: Another natural ingredient that is effective for treating blackheads is lemon. Add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to a bowl. Stir well. Apply the mixture to the blackheads after washing your face with warm, lukewarm water. After 20 minutes, wash your face with warm water.

Toothpaste Rubbing: Apply toothpaste in a thin layer over blackheads. Leave for 25 minutes, then gently wash the face with warm water. This remedy should be repeated for at least two weeks to eliminate blackheads.

Baking soda mask: Mix baking soda with water to form a paste. Apply the mask gently on the affected area, let it dry for a few minutes, and then wash with warm water. This will remove the dirt and oil that causes blackheads.

Oatmeal pack: A combination of oatmeal and yogurt helps to banish blackheads. Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal with three teaspoons of yogurt. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice and olive oil. Mix all ingredients until it forms a smooth paste. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then wash your face with cold, running water.

Egg wash: Raw egg is an effective home remedy for blackheads. One to two egg whites mixed with a tablespoon of honey are beaten. This mixture can be applied to the blackheads and left for 30 minutes before washing off with warm water.

Cinnamon pack: Mix equal parts cinnamon powder and lime juice into a thick paste. Apply the paste overnight to the affected areas and wash it off in the morning with warm water.
